dermatitis herpetiformis

a disease of the skin characterized by the presence of itchy skin lesions in characteristic sites, such as the elbows and knees. It is one of the possible manifestations of celiac disease.

diabetes

an autoimmune disease characterized by the destruction of the beta cells of the pancreas, which causes a deficiency in the secretion of insulin and a change in the metabolism of sugars.

Down’s syndrome

a condition characterized by the presence of an extra chromosome (trisomy 2 1). It is associated with mental retardation and other clinical manifestations, such as typical facial features, heart problems, and the risk of tumors.
